A pot-holer, his wife and a female friend emerge from a caving expedition to discover that they are the only people left alive on Earth after an atomic apocalypse. The man seduces the girl and his pregnant wife runs away from them, to return later only to find that they are now both dying from radiation exposure. 				Some Girls Do Ashdown Film Productions Ralph Thomas Richard Johnson, Daliah Lavi, Beba Loncar, James Villiers, Sydne Rome, Robert Morley Bulldog Drummond finds himself up against Carl Peterson, an old enemy, who plans to destroy the country's latest experimental supersonic aircraft. The film is brightened up by a bevy of beauties who, unfortunately for him, are trying to kill off our hero. I suppose this could be construed as a James Bond take-off in style although it is loosely based on a series of stories and is a sequel to the 1967 film 'Deadlier Than The Male'.
	Doppelganger (Journey To The Far Side Of The Sun) Universal / Century 21 Productions Robert Parrish Roy Thinnes, Ian Hendry, Herbert Lom, Patrick Wymark, Lynn Loring, George Sewell Ed Bishop An astronaut on a Eurosec space expedition to a new planet discovered in a reciprocal orbit on the far side of the sun encounters an exact mirror image of Earth. His double returns in his place. Enjoyable film with a very 'television' feel due to it's casting and production connections with the 'UFO' series. Also see Gerry Anderson Productions and U.F.O. Another spacecraft crashes on the planet ruled by apes, carrying astronaut Brent (Franciscus) who has been sent to find and rescue Taylor (Heston). He gains information from the ape village that Taylor has escaped from which leads him into the forbidden zone and an underground fortress guarded by telepathic humans.

Back where he started, the man takes more desperate measures to father a child.
