An obscure surf movie directed by the son of Universal music director Stanley Wilson. Lalo Schifrin accepted the invitiation to score son Phil's picture, and recorded 31 minutes of compositions with a West Coast jazz band. The film barely distributed but the soundtrack is considered a classic. The film features footage of surfing greats Dewey Weber, Johnny Fain, Butch Linden, Phil Wilson, Paul Strauch Jr., Fred Hemmings, Buzzy Trent, Paul Gebaurer and Jeff Hackman
